• Inspect and prepare routine maintenance plans and vehicle and machinery plans.
• Expedite, monitor, evaluate, and report project progress to ensure it aligns with the plan and to improve planning, including proposing solutions to any problems.
• Compile preliminary data on road material sources and road conditions.
• Implement safety measures related to traffic signals and lighting according to departmental standards, and repair lighting and related equipment in office and residential buildings.

• Control, supervise, and maintain signs, traffic markings, and other safety equipment to ensure they are in effective working condition.

• Control and monitor highway areas, mark highway boundaries, and manage reserved land outside the highway area, including preventing encroachment.
• Inspect, control, monitor, and enforce highway laws as assigned.

• Report work results and statistics as assigned, including reporting floods, accidents, and emergencies occurring on highways.
